TaeHwa thrives on the spotlight. Years ago, when he was living in the slums, he promised himself that he would rise. He would rise up from this dump, rise up until he wasn't nothing anymore--not in other people's eyes, and not in his eyes, either. He was going to be the star his name implies, and now he is: he shines in the strobe lights and thrumming music, in the burn of his muscles and the slickness of his sweat. He's miles away from the boy who dug in trash cans for food.

(Sometimes, though, he doesn't think it's far enough.)

Sooooooooooo. This is the first slash I ever wrote. Ever. I edited it. Because, you know, I might have to gouge my eyes out if I posted it as it actually was (it wasn't bad, I just think it's a little better now.) Anyway. Yeah. These two should probably belong in part of a verse, but I haven't gotten around to actually writing (much) of said verse. That said...enjoy? And admire my new icon.
